Learn to rollerskate with us on a Big Bucks Tough Rookies 12 week course, plus a free taster! Our dedicated coaches will teach you the basics of skating & derby to take you from bambi to badass. Check Events for dates!

Derby falls apart without refs and NSOs (Non-Skating Officials). Whether you're on wheels or not, officials are a vital part of any team to keep the gameplay going.

THE GORY FUND

Big Bucks High Rollers are beyond thrilled to introduce ‘The Gory Fund’.

In 2022, our friends at Oxford Wheels of Gory sadly decided to untape their track and close their doors. As part of their dissolution, they kindly divided their remaining funds amongst a number of neighbouring and local leagues, including Big Bucks High Rollers. We are so grateful! To pay this kindness forward, we will be using this donation to financially support both existing BBHR league skaters as well as helping new recruits access roller derby.

We understand how much of an investment it can be to play roller derby. So, whether it's through contributions towards league member subs payments, reductions in new skater course fees, or helping skaters to buy their own kit, the financial barriers to accessing our beloved sport can be reduced via ‘The Gory Fund’. Thank you OWG!
