WE CAN.
WE WILL.

Big Bucks was founded in 2011, and is based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Big Bucks is run completely by our team members – all members are expected to contribute to the day-to-day running of the league. We're also supported by friends of the team.

We welcome skaters of all abilities and our doors are always open to those who want to give it a go. For those who love to watch but not play, we also have a dedicated team of NSOs, referees and volunteers who are always looking for new recruits.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Diversity, inclusion and acceptance have always been and always will be fundamental values of Big Bucks High Rollers. We welcome individuals of all ages, sizes, gender identities, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, levels of ability, cultures, and socio-economic statuses. Whatever and whoever you are, there is a place for you on our team.

Our training is currently only open to those who identify with the WFTDA's gender statement. Please contact us if you wish to discuss this or any of our other policies with our trustees.

But What is roller derby?

Roller derby is a contact sport played by two teams roller skating around a track.

Each team has five players on track: a jammer - the point scorer - and four blockers. Game play consists of each jammer trying to score points by lapping members of the opposing team. The teams attempt to hinder the opposing jammer while assisting their own jammer—in effect, playing both offense and defense simultaneously.
