BUT WAIT, WHAT IS ROLLER DERBY?!
Roller Derby is a fast paced, full contact sport played on quad roller skates. Trust us, you'll be hooked in no time.
While it's a niche sport still growing in the UK, particularly rebuilding after the global pandemic, Roller Derby in general has an amazing, inclusive community across the world.
If you want a taste of what it looks like, there's a showcase tournament at Wycombe Leisure Centre on the 27th and 28th August, hosted by Five Nations Roller Derby. Big Bucks High Rollers is playing on the Sunday!
Our team is WFTDA affiliated and welcomes all women, non-binary and gender-expansive people comfortable skating on a women’s team. If you are not sure if this is for you, please don’t hesitate to contact us for clarification.
----
PLEASE NOTE: You must be over 18 years of age to take part, we currently do not have a Junior League for under-18's. We ask all skaters to follow COVID guidance and do not attend if they have any COVID symptoms. Keeping you safe is really important to us.
We can’t wait to see you all on track!
Love BBHR
