For each session,  skaters will need to arrive at 11.15am for kitting  up, to begin skating at  11.30am and end at 12.30pm. Our Main League  team training starts at 12.30pm  and you are welcome to stay and watch!

During the course  our dedicated Rookie Coaches will take you through  the basics of this  empowering sport. You will gain balance and  confidence on your skates and  start working towards building the skills  you need to join the team. At the  end of the course you'll get to take  part in a 'Graduation Scrim'! Celebrating  everything you've learnt and  putting into practice alongside your fellow  Rookie Grads.

This is a taster session running ahead of our 11-week Learn to Skate  course. To book your place on the free taster session OR sign up for the  11-week course (OR sign up for our free taster on 14th May),  please email ASAP.  We have a limit on capacity and we don't want you to miss out!

Roller Derby is a  fast paced, full contact sport played on quad roller skates. Trust us, you'll  be hooked in no time.

While it's a niche  sport still growing in the UK, particularly  rebuilding after the global  pandemic, Roller Derby in general has an  amazing, inclusive community across  the world.

If you want a taste  of what it looks like, there's a showcase  tournament at Wycombe Leisure Centre  on the 27th and 28th August,  hosted by Five Nations Roller Derby. Big Bucks  High Rollers is playing  on the Sunday!

Our team is WFTDA  affiliated and welcomes all women, non-binary and  gender-expansive people  comfortable skating on a women’s team. If you  are not sure if this is for you,  please don’t hesitate to contact us  for clarification.

PLEASE NOTE: You  must be over 18 years of age to take part, we  currently do not have a Junior League for under-18's. We ask all  skaters to follow COVID guidance and do not  attend if they have any  COVID symptoms. Keeping you safe is really important  to us.

We can’t wait to  see you all on track!

If you choose to  join the team after the course, you can become a  League Member! We are a grass  roots team with no sponsorship. To keep  BBHR rolling, we all contribute £40  subs per month to cover our  training venue costs and insurance. We train every  Sunday at Cressex  Community School and every other Wednesday at Wycombe  Leisure Centre!
