Our home champs match was immense. The crowd was electric, the opponents were wired. Fun was has by all (but mostly us, because we WON!)

Our season ended with a minimum skills ticking session and we have THREE amazing new skaters to add to our roster: Mamma Pia, Princess Slayer and Rebel Hell

Bucks <3 Surrey

Game four: the decider. We always love playing Surrey and the final Champs game was no exception.

We won! It was hot, it was hard but we won our third champs game.

Zig-a-Zig Grrrah

Big Bucks represented at Southampton's latest mixed scrim to the soundtrack of the Spice Girls. Our inbetweeners loved getting in some track time with thanks to Dropkick and Stompy for reffing.

Rookies vs The World

Our wonderful inbetweeners (with help from some of the main league) scrimmed against the world and they all kicked the world's butt. Thanks to all the guest rookies for bulking out the teams!

Back at Dorney

Big Bucks celebrated the long Easter weekend the only way we know how - on skates of course! A few trips around Dorney lake may have left us sweaty and sunburnt but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Women in STEM Bout

Some members of team green took part in a bout to raise awareness about roller derby AND women in STEM. After a kick-ass match these amazing ladies chatted to the next generation about how to get started in STEM jobs.

First Champs Win of 2019

We were elated to win our first champs match of 2019. A very hard fought game. Every single person in our league made it possible.

Bex aka Clusterpuck passed her skills this week and became the newest member of team green. She then played in her first match Vs The World earning her the Top Trainer award.

Today is Transgender day of visibility, a celebration. But everyday is a day to support trans people. We are your allies. We encourage our skaters to chose whichever pronouns they wish to use and continue to ensure we use these at training. Roller derby must be a safe space for all human rights.
